Trade Alert: Port Houston Closed Due to Hurricane Beryl
The Port of Houston is closed on Monday, July 8th, due to the landfall of Hurricane Beryl in Texas early Monday morning.
The Port of Houston announced on Sunday, July 7th, that their facility will be closed today, Monday, July 8th, due to extreme weather conditions resulting from Hurricane Beryl. They stated that they will release another update today at 12:00 PM CT.
Port of Houston's Message
Our Houston office is closed today, but our team is working remotely where able, and all communications are being monitored. Our other offices will provide backup support during this time. Rogers & Brown extends our concerns to all of our customers in the Texas-Houston area, and we hope everyone remains safe through the duration of the storm and its aftermath. We will be here to support our customers, whose operations may be impacted by this storm.
